Elections

Grimsby Voters will elect the following offices:

• Mayor
• 8 Councillors 
• 1 English Public School Trustee for the District School Board of Niagara
• 1 English Separate School Trustee for the Niagara Catholic District School Board
• 1 French Public School Trustee for Conseil Scolaire Viamonde
• 1 French Separate School Trustee for Conseil Scolaire Catholique Monavenir

Voting locations include the following:

• Advanced in-person Voting  - Wed, Oct.14th, 10am-8pm & Sat, Oct.17th 10am-6pm - Major Refrigeration Peach King Centre
• Voting Day - Monday, October 26th 10am-8pm
  • Ward One- Niagara West YMCA - 325 Main St, E
  • Ward Two- Central French Immersion School (Formally Grimsby Secondary School) - 5 Boulton Avenue
  • Ward Three- Major Refrigeration Peach King Centre - 162 Livingston Avenue
  • Ward Four- LiUNA Training Centre - 260 Hunter Rd

*Internet Voting Assistance Centres will be available at Grimsby Public Library and Town Hall during regular operating hours starting at the beginning of internet voting, October 5 until Election Day, October 26.

Financial statements from Candidates and Third Party Advertisers in the 2026 Municipal Election will be available on this page, in accordance with section 88 (9.1) of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996.

All Candidates and Third Party Advertisers must file their financial statement and auditor's report (if required) on or before March 30, 2027, at 2:00 p.m.

In accordance with section 88.23(4) of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, the Clerk shall make available to the public the following report setting out all Candidates in an Election and indicating whether each Candidate complied with section 88.25.
